The more open your heart, the more miracles you’ll receive. For miracles occur naturally as expressions of love. When you choose to love, you choose to work miracles.

Visionary Fleet Crew

Greetings from our tiny coastal rainforest village in Canada.

We are joyed the Capstone Edition of the Galactic Trading Cards are printed and soon to begin travelling towards us.

After we have received the cards safely in the spring, we will contact you to begin the process to get up to date mailing addresses and arrange shipping.

You will be able to get your copies sent with the option to get additional copies before the final 200 remaining decks are announced. Those final copies will be sold to help cover shipping costs to contributing artists and to pay back project loans.

This project remains an entirely volunteer endeavour, a labour of love. All art was given freely, design done freely and my time entirely volunteered. May this be a blessing of art and inspiration for 1000 people in our beloved global community.

A chorus of gratitude for your generous support and supreme patience while we took this project to the next level again and again in order provide something deeply intentional and profoundly beautiful.

May this conscious cultural artifact shine light into our sacred world.

The Capstone Edition of the Galactic Trading Cards has gone to print!

Bounce bounce bounce

A bounty of gratitude for your support and patience with the process.

By pouring so much intention and time into the project, it evolved exponentially this past season.

The deck design, including the syncretic oracle, has been completely redesigned for a deeper, more accessible and articulated divinatory gaming system. There is some recurated art and lots of new design. A beautiful booklet in a gorgeous spot varnished box take it to the next level. Sneak Peeks below.

By our final counts, this global visionary culture community building initiative shares artworks from 119 artists from 27 countries on 6 continents. Featuring 136 cards including 127 paintings or drawings and 9 digital artworks.

Consciously created with profound intention over a 7 year period. Cards were written in ceremony with Grace Solkinson at 53 megalithic sites in the Celtic Realms of Alba (Scotland), Cymru (Wales), Ériu (Ireland), Ellan Vannin (Isle of Man), Kernow (Cornwall), Breizh (Brittany) as well as the previously Celtic Guernési (Guernsey) and Albion (England).

There is only 200 or so of these decks still available for pre-order from the limited edition print of 1000 decks. Sales will help address mailing costs to ship decks to contributing artists. This remains and entirely volunteer project.

Celestial Adventure : Galactic Trading Cards Autumn Update
4 months ago – Sun, Nov 30, 2025 at 07:37:47 AM

"Still round the corner there may wait, a new road or a secret gate." - J.R.R. Tolkien

Celestial Starship Fleet Team

A song of gratitude for your patient support of the Capstone Edition of the Galactic Trading Cards.

We are in the final 3 days of finalizing the design and sending to the printer expecting to have the deck in hand early in the new year.

Joyed to have been able to expand the deck by 8 cards and arrange spot varnish on the box for some final sparkle.

Our Autumn Capstone Pilgrimage update is shared here in story form..

To complete the deck with the highest intention we took one more pilgrimage across autumn equinox to write the final cards, text for the book and gain insights on how to take the project to the next level of awesome. I also rewrote any cards not previously written in ceremony at ancient sacred sites of the Celtic Nations. We wanted the deck to be entirely created at megalithic ancestral sites of all the Celtic Nations and we had not yet gone to the fabled Ellan Vannin (Isle of Man) or Breizh (Brittany).

Now the complete deck has been written with ritual intention at 53 ancient sacred sites mostly from the Neolithic (Stone Age) with some from the Iron Age and Bronze Age. Located in the Celtic Realms of Alba (Scotland), Cymru (Wales), Ériu (Ireland), Ellan Vannin (Isle of Man), Kernow (Cornwall), Breizh (Brittany) as well as the previously Celtic Guernési (Guernsey) and Albion (England). Ritual writing done at mostly stone circles as well as megalithic complexes, standing stones, stone alignments, fairy forts, ring / chambered and passage cairns, dolmens / quoits and sacred sites in neolithic settlements.

Here is a short gratitude video we made for you at Pentre Ifan with the sample box we have carried on our pilgrimages filled with ritual objects.

Here is a story of our pilgrimage to complete the project.
Weaving our way through Southern Cymru (Wales) up single track roads, through hedges of hawthorn and gorse, we left our regular lives behind. We followed the pilgrimage path through mist, rain and sun, past four rainbows to arrival a truly mystical place. Our timely arrival provided us with yet another rainbow and a regenerative time where we had this sacred site to ourselves for a time.

Looking across the green rolling hills of Cymru, dotted with dry stacked stone walls and endless sheep, we gaze out to the sparkling Irish Sea. This visionary vantage point is a perfect place to reflect on our life and seek guidance for the next level.

The pilgrimage path has taken us deep into Mynydd Preseli, the many fabled source of Preseli bluestones used to make the inner circle of Stonehenge. In this unique site some 5500 years ago a creative community collaborated to create a Dolmen or ‘portal tomb/temple’ made of upright megaliths with a large capstone. The size and weight of these stones is so great that it remains a mystery how this structure could be assembled with such skill and agility that it remains perfectly standing, unrestored after millennia! The capstone rests perfectly on three narrow uprights, giving it the appearance of floating.

Pentre Ifan is a megalithic marvel. It has been used for individual and community ceremony connecting people with the cycles of nature on earth and in the cosmos through all the ages since the neolithic period.

This has been a touchstone for those seeking a new perspective and time outside of time.
Pentre Ifan is made of Preseli bluestone, an igneous rock made up on many minerals including Dolerite, Quartz, Biotite, Feldspar, and Hematite giving it unique magnetic and electro-metaphysical properties.

Myth Lore states this was and continues to be a core Druidic College, gathering place for witches and portal entry of the Tylwyth Teg ('Fair Family') to a spiritual palace in Annwfn, the Otherworld. In some circles it is known as the "Womb of Ceridwen”, the Celtic goddess of rebirth, transformation and inspiration.

Joyed to spend more time at this luminous place overflowing with inspiration to write Galactic Trading Cards and send prayers for the projects success.

"When you leave a beautiful place, you carry it with you wherever you go."
- Alexandra Stoddard

The blustery Welsh wind and rain called us to adventure. Making our way up single lane tracks up a mountain above the coastal village of Penmaenmawr, we return to a much beloved pilgrimage place, a neolithic trackway of stone circles and megaliths.

Hiking up through the yellow gorse and purple heather, the wind becomes stronger and stronger, almost blowing us off our feet. The ascension is itself a leap of faith and exercise in determination and fortitude. At any time it could start pouring with rain again. Each step up the mountain is a symbol of our commitment to life's great journey of discovery.

At last we reach the summit to rediscover Maeni Hirion, the Druid's Circle, a 5000 year old ring of stones set in an atmospheric location far above the Irish Sea. Vast views reveal the rolling hills far below, a quilt of sheep fields sewn together with dry stacked stone walls and hedgerows. It’s a breathtaking experience we will always remember.

The dramatic wind in this wild and remote setting creates a context for ceremony and ritual as well as deep reflection.

"I'm not telling you it's going to be easy. I'm telling you it's going to be worth it." — Art Williams

Climbing up towards Eryri National Park (Snowdonia) from a tiny coastal village of Llanddwywau we come to a beautiful place. Two massive sacred hawthorn trees stand like sentinels over Cors y Gedol, a 6000 year old portal dolmen, a huge capstone supported effortlessly by upright stones. We loved the ebeautiful view out across Cardigan Bay in the Irish Sea. Perfect place to do an activation for the Galactic Trading Cards.

"The world is a beautiful place to be born into." - Lawrence Ferlinghetti

We boarded the ferry named Manannán and set sail into a blustery Atlantic evening. The three hour crossing through high wind and storm is harrowing. Many people were unwell and ‘get well’ bags are passed around to passengers throughout the journey. We got initiated by the sea, crossing over a threshold in our leap of faith adventure.

We arrive at the mythical Ellan Vannin (Isle of Man) named after the Celtic Sea god, Manannán mac Lir, a ruler and guardian of the Otherworld. Manannán bravely sails the Sguaba Tuinne 'Wave-sweeper' a self-navigating boat, rides Aonbharr, a horse that can travel over land and water, and wields Fragarach, a strength-sapping sword.

The Roman’s never found Ellan Vannin leaving an intact Goddess Culture surrounded by the Celtic Sea and the other Celtic Nations in all directions. Only entire country to be designated as a UNESCO Biosphere.

Pristine coastal countryside carries us to an isolated spot on the south coast where a trail leads us into the Chasms. Narrow deep chasms are everywhere here, we leap over some and avoid leaving the path as many are hidden under gorse and heather.

The narrow path leads down the cliffs to a place of pristine beauty. Wild waves crash against the coast below and the view in all directions is of the true wild, not a road, not power line, nor home or structure in view.

We have reached the end of the world, or the beginning… Cronk Karran, the Druids Circle. Here time stands still and we are regenerated by the sheer natural beauty of this place that has inspired people for thousands of years. Grace brought a beautiful song through and I am writing for the new Galactic Trading Card deck. We pray, bless fabric, speak the names of our loved ones with well wishes, and commune with our Celtic ancestry. Joyed we can visit this site tommorrow and the next day too, our tiny time on the isle punctuated by beauty and life affirming experiences.

Reclaiming the sacred in our lives naturally brings us close once more to the wellsprings of poetry.”― Robert Bly

Our third and final visit to Cronk Karran, the Druids Circle on Ellan Vannan (the Isle of Man) is filled with magic and wonder. We cross through the dangerous Chasms and down a small path through the cliffs and towards the sea. A boundless blue sky day lights up a spectacular view in all directions. Wild nature, flowering herbs and plants, the blue ocean, grey cliffs and the song of birds are all around us. We do not see a soul on any of our visits to this remote and wondrous place.

This stone circle exists outside of time as it has since the New Stone Age many thousands of years ago. There is no trace of garbage, people or modernity to be seen anywhere. It is a pristine place, a reminder that wild nature need to be preserved as a place of serenity, reflection and peace for future generations. These sites bring such benefit as regenerative spaces connecting people to the earliest ancestral times in our humanity. This is certainly a cosmic compass charting the cycles of stars, comets, constellations and alignments with the most distant parts of the Milky Way Galaxy.

Perfect place to write many Galactic Trading Cards in ceremony.

We did a blessing on the project and infused it deeper with the magic of the stones and the ancestral Celtic magic.

"In the quiet of this day may you know the greatness of your spirit and may your hopes fly on the wings of possibility." - Mary Anne Radmacher

Blessed to be in the lands of the Cailleach, a Celtic Mother Goddess of Creation and winter weather who can transform into a bird.

Passing through tiny lanes past ancient stone farmhouses and sheep fields appearing as they have for countless hundreds of years we even crossed a stream flowing over the road. High on a hill overlooking the sea towards faraway Cumbria we come to the many fabled Cashtal yn Ard, a 4000 year old chambered ancestral sacred site (called by archeologists a ‘tomb’ since bones were found there).

Here we step out of time connecting with the ancient in a cultural Time Machine that links us with the neolithic! An ancient creative community had such vision that they built their sacred site to last for millennia.

What a perfect place to work on the Galactic Trading Cards. Clear and connected. The peaceful space far from any industry or noise is profoundly regenerative and healing. It transports us into a feeling of deep serene peace.

To the poet, to the philosopher… all things are friendly and sacred, all events profitable, all days holy, all people divine.” ― Ralph Waldo Emerson

Far to the north on the mythical Isle of Ellan Vannin we pull our vehicle ‘Selkie’ onto some grass and off the narrow single lane gravel road and forge forward on foot. A humble path leads through the ferns and steeply down the cliffs towards the sea. Framed by the ocean and rugged rocks our pilgrimage takes us to an ancient Celtic Holy Well. Here there is no trace of Christianity, just a Brigid’s cross and many small offerings like gemstones, clooties and flower petals. The well comes right out of the stone as clear as the sky above us.

We have come to Chibbyr Maghal, a once legendary well attracting pilgrims from throughout the surrounding Celtic Realms as it provide miraculous cures from its holy water. Here we cleanse and clear any negative energy, resentment or processes of the past so we can accept guidance for the next level of our lives. We also ask for health and healing as our bodies grow older.

Here we are reminded of the power of ritual and ceremony done with great intention. Awesome place to bless and say prayers for the Galactic Trading Card project.

"Call upon the Goddess to protect you and teach you the secrets of magic. Ask stones and plants to reveal their powers - and listen." ‒ Scott Cunningham.

The stones have called to us again. We have listened. Back in England we continue on our  7th pilgrimage to do ceremony and creative practices at remote neolithic sites in the Celtic Realms. This will be our capstone pilgrimage, giving us a final wave of magic for our the capstone edition of the Galactic Trading Cards.

Visiting the World Heritage Site of Avebury at West Kennet Longbarrow, a 5700 year old temple barrow made of earth and stone, the oldest widespread tradition of stone construction in human history was a highlight.

Ascending a long path up a hill at sunset revealed spectacular views of farmers fields as far as the eye could see in all directions. Nearby is Silbury Hill a massive chalk mound similar in volume to the pyramids and constructed in the Stone Age 2400 BCE.

Inside the chamber there are feathers, stones, acorns and all manner of ritual offers tucked into the many cracks and crevasses of the dry stacked stone. Here we place the deck for an activation of the project.

Here the project is charged up through the sample box in our ritual activation ceremony.

I saw that my life was a vast glowing empty page and I could do anything I wanted.” — Jack Kerouac

Up at 4:45 am to catch a ferry to the ancient realm of Lisia, Guernsey in the Channel Islands. The traditional language here is Guernésiais which is related to french.

Pouques are the native fairy folk. Similar to Pixies, the Guernsey fae are tiny and have orange hair, green cloths and clogs. They are shape shifters known to change into animals and even rocks.

The path takes us by La Varde Dolmen and the 8000 year old Les Fouaillages, one of the oldest neolithic sites in Europe. Our hearts break a little as these two sites, tho being well maintained, are located on a golf course. Most sites we visited were quite remote.

"Life is a stream which flows from sources unknown."
- Ralph Waldo Emerson

A short flight takes us to a beautiful land of Celtic tradition and heritage. A place of myth and magic, song and story, love and laughter: the ancient realm of Brittany in France.

These are the lands of Sirona, solar Goddess of healing associated with sacred springs. She is often shown with snakes, a symbol of renewal and medicine, and eggs, a symbol of fertility and life.

Weaving through an abundance of small family farms, gardens, sheep and cows we find our way to the southwest where we hop a ferry out taking us far out to sea to the legendary Isle of Ouessant. A long walk through green ferns, yellow gorse and purple heather takes us to a most ancient place. The stone circle known as the “Megalithic Egg”, Le Cromlech de Pen ar Lan, a 3700 year old sacred site of serene peace and healing calm.

We have a timeless day surrounded on all three sides by the sea. This year we have been working relentlessly, around the clock every day of the week. At last we come up for some air in some profoundly regenerative time. Our gentle ceremony includes blessing fabric, sending love to friends and family, writing for the capstone edition of the Galactic Trading Cards and for our upcoming pilgrimage book. Here we seek guidance for the future of our life, home, and livelihood. We have been home mere days since February, dedicating this year to our awesome students on the Pacific Rim College Permaculture Design and Resilient Ecosystems Diploma. The future is a mystery and we have come, like so many before us, to the ancient Celtic realms to seek guidance and direction on the path ahead.

Another deeply remote neolithic site to write Galactic Trading Cards at.

Tomorrow belongs to those of us who conceive of it as belonging to everyone; who lend the best of ourselves to it, and with joy.” - Audre Lorde

This numinous day brought us to a UNESCO world heritage site overlooking the sea, the dry stacked stone temple known as Cairn Petit Mont. The creative community who built this site had such skill and vision that it has lasted for 6000 years, a symbol of the visionary spirit of early humanity who were perhaps more sophisticated, wise and advanced in many ways than we are today. This was no group of loin cloth clad primitives, but a highly sophisticated people living in alignment with the earth and cosmos, with nature and the supernatural, capable of extraordinary wonders. For millennia people and groups have visited these sites to reflect, contemplate, vision, connect and seek guidance. The stones in the inner chambers are carved with neolithic art and imprinted with the intention of countless people who have visited through all the ages of humanity.

Perfect penultimate place to bless the project!

Having the entire site to ourselves on this kind autumn morning, writing some of the last of the cards was purely inspired.

Art can permeate the very deepest part of us, where no words exist.”
– Eileen Miller

The beauty of Brittany in France brings us to the crowning moments on our capstone pilgrimage to ancient sacred places across Celtic Realms. It is the final day of a ritual cycle of seven pilgrimages that have been touchstones in our lives over the last 10 years of our relationship beginning when I proposed marriage to Grace at the Fairy Pools on the Isle of Skye then weaving through 6 honeymoon adventures in love and permaculture.

Absolutely wondrous to connect with two of our beloved spirit family. Our hearts and souls are lit up and enlivened to be with two visionary artists of the highest order, Martina Hoffmann and Pascal Ferry.

They are featured artists in the deck and have been for numerous editions. Martina has generously been contributing to the deck since we met in the mid-2000's.

This masterwork is 'Creatrix' by the amazing Martina Hoffmann which will be the 'Universe' in the GTC deck!

This wonder is 'Golden Tree' by the mystical artist Pascal Ferry and also featured in the new Capstone edition of the deck.

A feast in Carnac with these two wondrous beings is a memory we will treasure forever. Visiting their studio was a visionary experience beyond our deepest dreams, we stepped out of time, immersed in the original paintings of these two spectacular artists whose work transforms, evolves and deepens so many of us around the world. Numerous original paintings had been featured in past Galactic Trading Card decks but I had not yet seen them. Being in the presence of these visionaries of the highest order was a an epic level capstone on our journey.

Martina and Pascal live in the heart of a megalithic complex like none other on earth. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is an astonishing ritual landscape including over 3000 standing stones anchored in a series of alignments, stone circles, menhirs, tumuli (burial mounds) and dolmens 6500 years ago in the most ancient Stone Age. We have come to the legendary Alignments of Carnac. This unthinkably profound ceremonial complex serves as an astrolabe that has been connecting people with themselves, each other, Mother Nature and the cosmos for millennia.

This experience, after our time with Martina and Pascal, lights us up and inspires us in deep and profound ways. Leaning against the stones I write the last of the Galactic Trading Cards for the final Capstone edition, completing a 25 year project that has been refined, remixed and redesigned over 14 editions starting on winter solstice in the year 2000.

Absolutely awesome site to complete the last of the Galactic Trading Card writing at and give it one final ritual activation.

As the capstone of our pilgrimage, to our souls delight in the artful heart of Brittany, we connect with two extraordinary visionary artists shining incredible beauty and light into the world. A. Andrew Gonzalez and Nu Ma Firefly craft art that heals, inspires, uplifts and lights up our life and culture, bringing wonders to countless people around the planet. They are featured artists in the deck. A. Andrew Gonzalez has been participating in the deck since the early 2000's and its been 20 years since I had met him in person. It is with a final feast of Galettes Bretonnes in a tiny magical village in the heart of Brittany with two of our favourite visionary artists that we complete this work.

This magical artwork is called 'Ecstasy from Celestial Abysses' by Numa Firefly

It graces our new capstone edition of the deck.

Mystic visionary work  'Annunciation of Sophia Aeterna' by  A. Andrew Gonzalez

This is the star in the major arcana in our new card deck! What a blessing!

We returned home to finish serving as Dean and Lead Instructors on our Permaculture Design and Resilient Ecosystems Diploma at Pacific Rim College and are now in the final few days of completing the box, book and deck files for the printer to submit December 1.

Endless thanks for your patience and support as we poured more intention into the project than previously dreamed possible. Expect another update before long sharing some of the new art and design that emerged only because the project took this long to complete.

Today and over the weekend we are working closely with designers Sijay James of Onbeyond Metamedia and Brook Paulin of Materia Media to bring this into completion.

Boundless blessings

Delvin & Grace Solkinson

Final few minutes on our pigrimage at the Alignments de Carnac

This is a labour of love. All our time and that of all artists and designers is donated. Costs are covered by pre-orders and selling some decks to cover project expenses. May this project be a blessing of light and inspiration to many people around the world.

Summer Update : Galactic Trading Cards

Creativity doesn’t wait for that perfect moment. It fashions its own perfect moments out of ordinary ones.” —Bruce Garrabrandt

Brilliant Visionaries

A song of gratitude and joy from high summer on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. We are epic grateful for your support of this global collaboration.

We are progressing on creating the Capstone Edition of the Galactic Trading Cards with great intention. It is going slower than anticipated but also becoming better than imagined. Doing a project including so many people entirely volunteering is a feat!

There have been a few manifestations that have really taken things to the next level.

Joyed to upgrade the deck curation with new art from Ruvexen Flores @ruvexen 'Awakening of Consciousness'

Also joyed to update the work from Li Lian Kolster with her new work 'Chiara'

I had a productive session with Creative Director Sijay James to start putting in the symbols on all the cards.

I have been working away on the  indesign file, adding and editing metapoetics, moving cards around in the sequence.

Here are some rough, incomplete card backs as a sneak peak.

I have design sessions in August booked with the visionary designer Brook Paulin to forge forward on the book that will accompany the cards.

As noted in the campaign and last update, the cards have been written intentionally in ceremony at sacred sites in the Celtic nations of Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Cornwall and England.

There are a few more cards to write and more text for the book to create. In order to this in the most epic and inspiring way, we are going to travel the last two of the Celtic nations, the Isle of Man and Brittany, in order to complete work on this in ceremony. This will delay the completion by a couple of months pushing our print date from Autumn to early Winter, but we feel confident this will enhance and uplift the quality of the project so deeply that it will be well worth the additional investment and wait.

Deepest of thanks for supporting us to co-create this miraculous project including 111 artists from 25 countries. This is the work of a community and we are truly grateful for believing in this project and our ability to complete it. Sorry for the delay on completion. We are confident it will share beauty and inspiration far beyond our original vision by putting this extra intention in.

Currently we are serving as Dean and lead instructors on the Permaculture Design and Resilient Ecosystems Diploma at Pacific Rim College and have been immersed in teaching, fieldtrips and co-creating a permaculture demonstration site. It is a year of grounding into the earth and empowering the next generation of life stewards. Here is what we look like these days.
